Podcast for C-Section Moms dedicated to Cesarean birth trauma, recovery, prevention, education, and empowerment

Listen to the Empowering C-Sections Podcast with Bearfoot Mama

C-Sections are rough.

Not only that, they suck. Especially when you are completely blind-sided by them after many grueling hours in labor. Or after planning the perfect birth plan then learning it will be impossible. Who knows that disappointment better than women who have gone through the same thing? But it doesn’t mean we have to feel guilt or regret for them. You deserve to feel proud. You deserve to feel like a birthing goddess.

Here we empower belly birth warriors through interviewing other C-Section moms and with education on Cesarean preparation, prevention, healing, and recovery. You aren’t alone. Follow the podcast to find your loving birth tribe and learn valuable tips & tricks on how to heal from your C-Section inside & out. Whether planned, or emergent, there’s a story for you! We will make you feel powerful & strong for your amazing accomplishments! Not only did you birth a baby, you recovered from major abdominal surgery.

I had 2 unplanned C-Sections (hear them in episode 1!). I felt so isolated and alone. But then I remembered a THIRD of births are via Cesareans! And 3 (almost 4) MILLION births happen in the US every year! So I was like, I’m probably not the only C-Section Mom who feels isolated. I need to reach every single mom out there who feels guilty, ashamed, and negativity surrounding her birth. Because she needs to know it wasn’t her fault. So, I started my blog. Then I started a podcast.

This podcast is for YOU.

There are a plethora of birth podcasts, natural birth podcasts, empowered birth podcasts, and even a VBAC podcast. But not a single C-Section podcast. Sure, there was the random C-Section episode. But not a podcast dedicated to C-Section Moms. Therefore, I created this one.

You’ll hear belly birth stories of women who had multiple C-Sections. Some have only had one. Ladies who had awful recoveries. While some had effortless recoveries. There’s stories of moms with diabetes, failed inductions, and more. All in all, there’s stuff you can relate to. There’s stuff to help you see that others had it worse. And there’s stories and advice on how to improve your birth next-time.
